Make magic

Happy Monday!

Today, I share with you a page made with a new exclusive and super fun product by Studio Calico... which of course I can not love more: the Silkscreen. It's like using a mask with self-adhesive on the back which make the process so much easier and the result you get it is so much nicer.  

In this page, I use Gold acrylic paint and a foam brush to get that beautiful diamond shaped embellishment with the phrase make magic. Isn't it super cute? I was so happy with it that I have already ordered the Whitman add-on kit from a couple of months ago which included another Silkscreen. Yaaay!

PD. The flair I used was designed by Jen Kinkade who has an amazing talent for calligraphy. So happy that I ordered the whole collection :)

¡Feliz lunes! 

Hoy, os muestro una página hecha con un nuevo producto exclusivo y súper divertido diseñado por Studio Calico .. que por supuesto no me podría encantar más: la serigrafía o Silkscreen. Es como usar una máscara con auto-adhesivo en la parte posterior que hace que el proceso resulte mucho más fácil y el resultado que se obtiene sea mucho más bonito y perfecto. 

En esta página, he usado pintura acrílica dorada y un pincel de espuma para conseguir ese adorno en forma de diamante con la frase Make Magic. ¿No es super guay? Me ha gustado tanto que ya he pedido el kit adicional de un par de meses que incluyó otra plantilla de este tipo. ¡Síiii! 

PD. La chapa que he utilizado esta diseñada por Jen Kinkade que tiene un talento increíble para la caligrafía. Y yo ya me he hecho con toda la colección :)

Bear Hug

Hello again!

This is actually the first page I made right after I came from vacation because I was super excited to use that cute little bear digital set by Studio Calico (I missed the actual stamp because I was touristing around while the reveal was on). I decided instead of using it as a digital brush adding it as a die cut with my Silhouette Portrait.

The rest of the page was totally inspired by the photos on the page. They were taken at the Sequoia National Park in California. We had an amazing day exploring at the forest. So, I grabbed some paper leaves and flowers, wood veneers, wood pattern paper and with this the rest of the page came out so easily.

¡Hola de nuevo! 

Esta es en realidad la primera página que hice justo después de que vine de vacaciones. Y es que estaba súper emocionada de utilizar ese osito tan mono de Studio Calico (me perdí el sello real, ya que en el momento en el que lo sacaron a la venta estaba de turisteo por ahí y se agotó). Decidí entonces usar el sello digital pero en vez de emplearlo en Photoshop me decidi  por cortarlo con  mi Silhouette Portrait. 

El resto de la página esta totalmente inspirado por las fotos de la página. Fueron tomadas en el Parque Nacional de Secoyas en California. Pasamos un día increíble explorando en ese bosque. Así que, tomé algunas hojas de papel y flores, formas de madera, papeles con diseños de madera.... y con esto el resto de la página salió sola rápidamente.

Let your heart be light

I am back!

Yes, finally. I know the last time I share a post here was like a month ago or so... But it has been an amazing month. After my stay in Germany, I came back home and it felt so good. How I missed my life here! But before I could realize I was again on a plane. But this time for fun. Yaaaay! My boyfriend and I spent two wonderful weeks on a Road Trip around the West Coast of USA. So, I hope you are prepared for some cute layouts about our little adventures. Enjoy!

Ya estoy de vuelta! 

Sí, por fin. Sé que la última vez que compartí un post aquí fue como hace un mes más o menos ... pero ha sido un mes increíble. Después de mi estancia en Alemania, regresé a casa y se sentía tan bien. ¡Cómo echaba de menos mi vida aquí! Pero antes de que pudiera darme cuenta ya estaba de nuevo en un avión. Pero en esta ocasión para divertirme. ¡Síiii! Mi novio y yo pasamos dos semanas maravillosas en un viaje por carretera por la costa oeste de EE.UU... Así que, espero que estéis preparados para algunas páginas sobre nuestras pequeñas aventuras. ¡Qué disfruteís!
